hmmm, extremely tired. What to do? OH YEAH I always write livejournals when I'm extremely tired!!!
These first few days at Dayton have been good. Not much has really happened but I feel good just being here. The only bad part so far is that my Ecology class is a Tuesday Thursday Class! I wish it was MWF!!! It has been fun reuniting with the back row from BIO 152. Even if I only usually see them in a BIO class I love my friends from my major.
Another great thing about today was that Ultimate Frisbee Started up again. Sticking with that club back as a freshmen was the greatest decision I made that year. Being around the wonderfully eccentric cast of characters on my team has reminded me why I love playing a sport that makes me want to die :D Even when I am so exhausted that I can't move anymore I feel giddy with energy from knowing what made me so tired. Its a very interesting feeling probably not to different from something else that tends to be exhausting and makes you happy. ;) Being around people who friendly and quick to joke around is a welcome relief from what could quickly become a stressful class load. Ultimate is a great sport because it brings out the best in people. (At UD anyways) It brings together people that ordinarily would have little chance of ever meeting and binds them together with a common goal. When I am out on the field my six teammates are for 15 minutes at a time my closest friends. Regardless of many differences the people I play Ultimate with are some of the best friends I have at Dayton. I bear many scars tonight from falling on the giant concrete slab disguised as Stuart Field, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
The biggest difference in my year thus far is obvious. Ren has rescued me from another semester of obscurity and I can never thank her enough for that. Just being out of my room feels wonderful and there are few people I would rather be bored senseless with. Though I am eternally telling people that NO we aren't dating I don't really feel any regret when I say that. Its strange, I've known Ren(who am I kidding its you anyways :P) for only a couple of months but I don't really recall being as close to anyone except Mouse. Its certainly been a strange 2 months, but its been great at the same time. Apparently we passed two major obstacles to a Boy-Girl friendship. Shopping together and Having to listen about Sex. There is apparently a third, I couldn't guess it and then I kind of forgot about it anyways. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be boring :P (Its not watching paint dry together is it?(I was gonna say something like, fun to conquer, but then I realized that they were OBSTACLES AND WERE BORING AS HELL!!!!))
Anyways. Hmm, maybe I'm a little too honest when I'm tired. :D
Oh well, makes for better reading, right?
